My 85 Supra

My 85 Supra was a great car it had a long life and provided me with lots of memories. My only regret was taking it to "Bernies Transmission Shop" in Hopewell Virginia. I took my car to them because it had a slight leak that dripped on the catalytic converter. After 3 transmissions from these 'professionals' the car was no longer trustworthy. I actually almost got into a fist fight with the owner as he voided the warranty on his third 'rebuilt' transmission. I engraved my name on the second one and when the third was delivered in the car my name wasn't there! I would never do business with that scam artist again. The first transmission lost reverse the first day and the second died on 95 North after 2 weeks. I traded the car in the week after "Bernie" put in the third transmission. He did such a good job the neutral safety switch didn't work anymore. The silver lining was I got a beautiful 89 turbo in trade.

This car won many awards at car shows before meeting "Bernie" and was a very dependable joy to drive. It had many speaker/stereo configurations. One was 4 12 inch woofers from kicker then it had 2 15's later when they were not big enough I popped an 18' woofer back there. I tried 10's but I finally ended up with 3 JL 12w6's. They were the best.
